The Rev. Jason Oden was born and raised in Oklahoma City, but he has lived in Cincinnati for the last 20 years. He recently graduated from the Church Divinity School of the Pacific and was ordained an Episcopal priest by Bishop Breidenthal in June 2019. He has degrees in Biblical Literature from Trinity Divinity School and Oral Roberts University, and he is writing a Ph.D. dissertation in the field of early Christian spirituality at the University of South Africa. He has served as a religious studies teacher at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, an adjunct professor of ethics and world religions at The Christ Hospital School of Nursing, and a Christian Formation Director at Trinity Episcopal Church in Covington, KY. For the last two years, he has served the congregations of St. Barnabas, Montgomery, and All Saints, Cincinnati. He met his wife Heather at one of his favorite Cincinnati coffee spots and lives in Madeira with their four daughters, Jaffa, Avery, Jorie, and Isla.

Jason is also serving as the part-time Priest in Charge at Church of the Advent, Cincinnati.
