Shred Day

The diocesan office is partnering with Christ Church Cathedral to sponsor a shred day on Thursday, July 22. While both staffs are using the opportunity to go through their offices and determine what paper can be shredded, this is a great chance for our church offices to clean out old records and clutter as well. Anyone in the diocese is invited to take advantage of this resource and shred those old papers taking up space!

Guidance for bringing documents to the shred event:

• Documents in boxes – if the documents that you want destroyed are kept in storage boxes, we will remove them on a dolly. Please ensure easy access to the boxes. IMPORTANT: if you wish to keep the physical boxes your documents are stored in, you will need to transfer the documents to another cardboard box, or we can transfer them to a secure tote for removal. Just let us know.
• Paper clips, staples, folders, and envelopes – these are all safe for our shredding machines and can be included with the documents.

The truck will be located along Sycamore Street in front of the diocesan office and the cathedral from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. You will be able to pull up behind the truck to unload.
