Festival of Advent Lessons and Carols

December 4 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

On Sunday, December 4 at 4 p.m., the Saint Mark’s Choir and the Canterbury Choir will come together to lead our beloved Festival of Advent Lessons and Carols.

An annual parish favorite, the service of Lessons and Carols alternates Advent-themed lessons with beautiful and inspiring music, all in preparation for the Christmas season. Music will include choral works by Malcom Archer, Gustave Holst, Giovanni Pierlugi da Palestrina, Mark Sirett, Natalie Sleeth, Conrad Susa, and Healy Willin.

Admission is free.  Donations will be accepted in support of the Special Music Fund at Saint Mark’s.

The service will also be live-streamed on our website (saintmarkscolumbus.org) and our Facebook page (facebook.com/saintmarkscolumbus).  A reception will follow.

Saint Mark’s is located at 2151 Dorset Road in Upper Arlington.   1/2 mile north of Lane Avenue at the corner of Tremont and Dorset.  Parking is available in the Tremont Shopping Center and the Upper Arlington library lot.

Please join us for this wonderful event, and be sure to invite some friends!
