Congratulations to Ariel Miller, parishioner at Ascension & Holy Trinity, Wyoming, and a member of our Becoming Beloved Community leadership team, for receiving one of five Outstanding Health Care Leader Awards from the statewide non-profit Universal Health Care Action Network (UHCAN) Ohio on Wednesday, May 18. Ariel is being recognized for regional outreach and direct service to help people find and enroll in health coverage through the Affordable Care Act over the past decade, many of whom were working adults who previously had no way to afford health insurance and who qualified for free coverage through expanded Medicaid.

The event will be on Zoom and Facebook live, starting at 7 p.m. Honorees will talk about the progress they have made together in health care equity over UHCAN’s 25 years of expert analysis and proactive advocacy. If you’d like to watch, here are two ways:

You can register and receive the Zoom information by clicking this link or the event will be on the UHCAN Ohio Facebook page.
